episode 1: flight/fields
welcome to the first episode of neo green pavilion! every week we will choose a work of art that is either at the Yale Center for British Art or the Yale University Art Gallery and we will describe that work on air and then play songs that relate to it!
today's first episode focuses on the work "Flight/Fields" created by Howardena Pindell in 1988-89. Pindell was born in 1943 and received her MFA from the Yale School of Art in 1967. she also spoke at the YCBA this past Wednesday 11/29 and three of her works are currently on view in the Contemporary gallery at the YUAG!
